If you have been waiting for the Soup Bowl Supper, put February 23rd on the calendar but call now for reservations.
Every other year Artspace hosts a fund raising Soup Bowl Supper with a delicious dinner that comes with a ceremic bowl hand made by art students from Southeast Raleigh, Sanderson and New Hope High Schools. Artspace Executive Director Mary Poole enjoys hosting the Soup Bowl Supper at Artspace because it matches their mission of making art accessible. “The students plan this event not for their own gain, but to raise money for and awareness of charitable causes.” says Ms. Poole. The supper is a fund raiser for the art programs at the student’s high schools, Artspace and the Raleigh Rescue Mission. The student’s generously decides to give the majority of the proceeds to Artspace and the Rescue Mission.
Reservations are required for the Soup Bowl Supper and tickets will not be available at the door. There are two seatings at 5:30 and 7:00pm. Tickets are $15 each or book a table for 8 for $100. Supper includes not only a delicious meal of soup, bread, drink and dessert but guests get to pick the hand-made ceremic bowl of their choice to keep. Additional ceremics are available for purchase at each seating.
Tickets can be purchased in person at Artspace or by calling 919-281-2887 (Mastercard and Visa accepted). There are only 100 seats available so book early.
